Being Thankful Activity

Teaching Children the value of giving thanks this season can be introduced at any age.
Start by sitting down with your child in a quiet, clutter free space. The floor or any area will work.

Ask the child to close their eyes with you and see if they can picture someone that they are thankful for knowing, meeting, learning from, being friends with, etc...

Younger children may need a little help from you in who they may be thankful for.

You and your child should take turns on saying and picturing who you/they are thankful for.

After naming some people, you can move onto things in the world that you are thankful for..

You can then have children either write in a journal or draw a picture of the people/things that they are thankful for.

Blessings to you and your family this Holiday Season..
